The foundation also believes in using emotional approaches to encourage people to keep their surroundings clean, beautiful, and green, and to develop sensitivity towards animals, birds, and other living beings. This way, people can stay permanently connected and contribute their best to make our planet beautiful.
The SRD Foundation was established on September 26, 2021, by its founder, Mr. Mithun Lal Bansal, inspired by the idea that every individual should make even a small contribution to make this planet more beautiful, comfortable, and safe for future generations before leaving it .

The foundation primarily works in the field of environmental improvement, work is also being done for mute and defenceless animals, birds and weaker section of society.
Under its flagship program “Ek Ped Apno Ke Naam” (A Tree in the Name of Loved Ones), the foundation is working on environmental conservation in Jaipur city through volunteers from associated crematoriums. People are encouraged to fill out pledge forms to plant trees in memory of their deceased relatives. Each pledge form can include a commitment to plant a minimum of one tree and a maximum of any number of trees. The foundation also runs programs for the weaker sections of society, as well as for voiceless and innocent animals, birds, and other creatures.
As part of this campaign, “Loved One’s Memorial Tree Plantation Pledge Forms” are filled out to plant trees in memory of deceased relatives with the support of crematoriums in Jaipur city. Currently, arrangements for filling out pledge forms are available in about 35 crematoriums in Jaipur. Now, these pledge forms can also be filled out online on the foundation’s website, srdfoundation.org. The foundation also provides trees for planting upon the pledger’s request. If more than five trees are planted, the foundation awards a certificate of appreciation to the pledger.

The foundation annually arranges for the installation of water containers in parks, temples, crematoriums, roadside areas, and other locations during the summer season to quench the thirst of mute and voiceless birds. Additionally, a program for the free distribution of water containers to people is run throughout the entire summer season.
Under this program, the foundation provides various essential items t-shirts, blankets, warm hudies, bags, tiffin etc. from time to time to empower and inspire the mokshdham volunteers working in its flagship program “Ek Ped Apno Ke Naam.”
